We have had this product now for a few months and running constantly. The ice is as good as when we first turned it on, and the production of the amount of ice is still going strong.

We did notice that every one of these makes different type of ice in size and consitency. Other opinion about it is that you should let it sit for 24 hours once a month in order to give it a chance to breathe. Give it a good cleaning once a week as well. If not you will get a loud clicking sound coming from the back of the little motor. It is just screaming for some rest.

The noise from the motor is pretty loud, but they do make you aware of that in the instructions. We do wish it had a slightly bigger reservoir, but that can be fixed by buying a larger model. besides that, it is still and amazing purchase, still recommend for its intended use and price.
